ACHI Executive Director Elena Nevolina took part in the Eurasian Pharmaceutical Summit, which was held on October 12–13, 2021 in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan. Elena was an online speaker at the session on trends in the development of OTC segment in Eurasia, and spoke on the development of a culture of responsible consumption of OTC medicines and the role of pharmaceutical counseling in supporting consumers’ to make conscious decisions related to their health.

The Eurasian Pharmaceutical Summit is an international industry event aimed at discussing trends in the development of the state and commercial segments of the pharmaceutical markets in 13 countries across the Eurasian continent, with the participation of regulators, industry leaders representing international and local drug manufacturers, distributors and pharmacy networks, as well as representatives of health care institutions and patient organizations.
