Governance

The General Meeting is the highest governing body of the Association consisting of all Association members. The General Meeting makes decisions of the main issues of ACHI’s operations, such as determining the focal areas of Association activities, approving and changing the Association Charter, admission of candidates to and exclusion of members from the Association, electing members of the Board of Directors, appointing the Executive Director, decision-making on the amount of membership fees, etc.

The Board of Directors provides overall guidance to the Association activities.

Committees

Committees and Working Groups are composed of ACHI members’ representatives; they meet on a regular basis and develop ACHI positions in key areas. Currently, there are four Committees operating within ACHI:

Policy Committee

Promotion of self-care concept and favorable conditions for consumer health market development

Regulatory Affairs Committee

Contributing to the improvement of registration environment for OTC drugs, medical devices, food supplements and other consumer health products

Communications Committee

Planning and implementing communication and awareness campaigns, developing partnerships with healthcare professionals, organizing events

Ethics Committee

Developing and maintaining the code of ethics and other ethical business conduct initiatives
