The Union "National Pharmaceutical Chamber", Federal State Budgetary Institution "All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Labor" of the Ministry of Labor of Russia, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov and the Association of Consumer Health Industry have developed an updated version of the professional standard "Pharmaceutical Worker".

The new professional standard is proposed to replace the four current professional standards in the sphere of pharmaceutical activity. The adoption of a unified professional standard for a pharmaceutical worker should lead to a significant reduction in the excessive administrative burden in the implementation of pharmaceutical activities in the Russian Federation, both for organizations and for individual specialists.

In addition, the content and requirements for performing the labor function of pharmaceutical counseling were clarified.
